So I picked this table out of the trash and have been refinishing it into a DJ Booth here are the first few pictures I'll post more after I finnish sanding and add the speaker stands
Now I have a question to ask of all my fellow DJ's I am adding speaker stands and a place to put my laptop similar to this
My question is this Should I just add one giant Shelf across the entire thing held up by bars or 3 seperate shelves like in the picture let me know your opinion thanks guys.
One giant shelf gives you more options later. If you do it like the pic it'll look good, but if you want to change something or add something later your kind of SOL.
EDIT: That tabe in the pic looks pretty bad ass though!!
Yeah only problem I have is I'm going to buy some denon cd players or maybe some cdj400 well see how much money I have at during christmas but anyways I just bought a pair of KRK Rokit 6's and was wondering if they would vibrate it too much to put CDJs up there with them if so I can build another shelving system or have them on the main desk with my keyboards and other stuff.
Are you going to use pipe like in the pic? If your are you can build the shelf and get an elbow for the pipe so you can have them come out like 8" or so from the sides then go up. Looks like there's plenty of room just under the top of your table. I would bolt your connecters on rather than using wood screws though.
