I do like both of them but I do not want to copy anyone. For me the xone:42 is the best mixer for my purposes, 4 channel with Filter but no EFX because Traktor are running them and the X1s are just amazing for Traktor.

    Thanx for your answer.

I don't want to copy cat too, but the setup they use is hust a beast of a setup for my style of DJing.
The :42 is in my opinion the best mixer for it's price and i just as you don't want any efx on the mixer, will be using traktor's but i do want the Filters of A&H : they are amazing !

In my opinion the X1's are the best controllers for Traktor atm. the feel is just like with Maschine !

So yesterday I went to IKEA for my quest to build my own DJ console. I decided beforehand this was the one I was going to reconstruct: http://www.instructables.com/id/Ikea-DJ-Console/

I took some pictures along the road today (assembly day) so enjoy

    1st pic: nowhere yet
2nd pic: starting to come together as a whole, still needs some cutting work (pic 3)
4th pic: Necessary all day!!! Haha Prince Start cookies + cappuccino
I will post some pics of the final setup with gear tomorrow, when the sun + light return

    Nice Gear D@VE

Is there enough space for a 2nd one? How are the Headphones, are they worth 300 bucks?

I'd like to have a machine too, we would have a twin set
