Um the only way it will work is if the midi messages are the same. I'll see if it's possible and get back to u

I don't know if this will work but install the MIDI mapper for the hercules, this is somewhat like the korg editor or enigma for maudio and korg nanos. it remaps the midi cc's on your device to whatever I have them set. Now i don't know if it will work since your device has a couple extra buttons. but it's worth a shot. I would make a backup of the one that comes with your device though. Like a factory settings.

Try it out if you would like.

How did you get your mic on/off button to work that way? It only seems to work every other button press? (only when its lit). I notice it can even light up when youre not in traktor just by pressing it...If I could get that to work Id have a hell of a 4 deck TSI using rmx, nano kontrol/pad

never mind I just figured it out. You only need one modifier command for that button, set it to button/hold and it ends up toggling with the led lit when active. WOOT!!!

i like the mapping a lot. thanks for sharing and good work. i changed some of the mapping to better suit my style but i've been having some issues if anyone could help out. i remapped the seek position buttons to a beat move back 1 and forward 4. i was able to map it for decks a and d but not b and c. any thoughts and help would be much appreciated. i'm thinking that the problem is with the modifiers. thanks.

Beside the obvious differences, the Hercules DJ Steel and DJ Rmx use pretty much the same MIDI control layout, so this MIDI profile should only require a few modifications to be used with the Steel.

And you don't need to install the Hercules MIDI mapper. Traktor's MIDI controller setup is really flexible.
