Default TMAS set up (inspired by the improvised dj desk thread)

Just built the desk this weekend. For equipment, it's my 1200s (still going strong after 17 years), Rane TTM56s, Macbook Pro, Traktor Scratch, Polk RT4 monitors, and HSU 8" sub (not visible).

    Looks good.

I'm spotting some nice vinyl in that collection...

Very clean ikea setup man! Are you able to set your tables up battle style with this configuration?

I think so, but I didn't actually try it. I'm so used to spinning this way now because I had the tables just sitting on top of an expedit shelf for a few years. I'll turn them and let you know.

Yeah it seems like most people building these aren't exactly doing it with scratching in mind... but yeah for sure let me know!

Just looked at the picture again...

Are you using Traktor Scratch with a Rane mixer?!

haha, yeah. I'm old school so it took me a long time to start using software. I was vinyl only up until last year. I basically went w/ Traktor because it's cheaper. I already had the mixer.
