Great news! It will be awesome a new mapping for VCI-100 TSP 1.2 with 4 fx slots. Imagine what we could do with smart knobs and 4 fx slots?

Hello Ean, I can’t wait to update! I was wondering however, will my present Traktor 4 1.1.2 tsi file for my Novation controller seamlessly import into 1.2? Or will I have to start from scratch and reassign everything?

yeah- some of my modifiers are not working either. They are the same but interestingly, I found some bad coding in mine that was breaking things. This version seems to be less forgiving, so you may have some problems you need to fix. In general our 1.4 TSI file is not completely working with 1.2 but I am working on a file now.

I am a registered user of TSP and just downloaded the 1.21 update. I’m looking forward to the new tsi. file that will work with this update but have some questions:

1) Do I need to update the firmware in my VCI-100 to work with the new updates in order to take advantage of the new features?

2) I have my folders containing my tracks set up on my external hd separated by type(vocal, instrumental, etc.) Is there a way to do the following:

a) Initially drag the hd folders into TSP as virtual crates without having to highlight the hd folders and have the program update the contents of each hd folder to it’s virtual equivalent folder without having to go into the track collection folder in the program and trying to figure out what type of track it is and move it to the appropriate folder manually?

b) Taking into consideration the first question, when new tracks are then loaded into the folders on the hd, the program will also update the contents of each hd folder to it’s virtual equivalent folder without having to go into the track collection folder in the program and trying to figure out what type of track it is and move it to the appropriate folder manually?

Thanks in advance for any answers to thesr questions. If they can’t be done now, who do I forward these questions to for future enhancements to the program?

the filters works very bad :(

lots of nice features .. what i just dont get is how they could think through their changes to the MIDI mapping so little. aside from making the pref panel resizeable the main omission seems to be:
- modifier reset button
- global modifiers
- support for modifiers in the device target
- support for FX units in the device target

I upgraded on friday and had a gig on saturday :D Well, luckily everything went good. The only problem I have is that moving around the grid marker does not work like in the previous version. Anybody experienced this issue?

What happened to the filters? They are not working correctly at all after the update.

Vst plugings on traktor.. Very cool Idea… with mapping control…

updated traktor pro to 1.2 now when i load a track into the deck and press play noyhing happens and also when i select an effect it does not load into the selected slot.

I just downloaded the new .tsi file and imported it into v1.21 of TSP. Now the pitch controls on my vci-100 are not recognized by the software for starters. Even worse, when I select the vci-100 in the controller-manager screen and click close, my selection is not stored by the program. It defaults back to the generic keyboard controller.

Now I also just ordered the firmware upgrade kit for the vci-100 to bring it up to v1.3 from v1.1 among other items.

Should I wait to update the firmware before determining if there is something wrong with the .tsi file and seeking help to resolve the problems?

any idea where I can find more on mapping the leds of the HC 4500 in traktor pro? I ordered a traktor bible today but I would like to map leds asap. Is your tsi file online yet? I can’t find it.

All the initial problems you mentioned have been fixed in the newest file available on the midi mapping tab.

I just updated my vci-100 to v1.3 along with Traktor Scracth Pro 1.2. I also ordered the vci-100se black overlay and knobs and the controller looks good.

The current problem I have is that when I start up Traktor Scratch Pro and move the left platter of the vci-100 for a few seconds without loading any tracks into the player, the little red light just to the upper right of the platter turns red, the color of the left platter also turns red and the left platter becomes un-responsive and will not turn back to blue.

The only way I can get the left platter to become responsive is to turn it off and back on again.

Not only that, the program is not affected by me spinning the left platter backwards.

I’m still getting my head around this program from Traktor 3.4.X, so all suggestions and help is greatly appreciated.

You need to adjust the jog wheel sensor knob on the back of your controller. Its turned all the way up.

I just updated the software, however i can not load nay track into the decks. It shows the plus sign but does not load. it says Audio through in the track title of the deck. Anyone with the same problem? Any solution?? Thanks!
