Ean
Maybe you should drop some arcade style onto the 300!
Those cue and play buttons are big and pretty BUT they have some of the worst response I have experienced!
I know it's only two buttons but I personally never use the scroll option or crate file browse modes...
Those could easily become the missing 4 arcades

The standard VCIs come with silver jog wheels, Is there a way to make them black and to get the really nice finish you have on the top 2 photos? The ones that almost look like wood?
no, you would need to buy new wheels. Thats anodized and brushed aluminum which is hard to get.

So to make are own arcade mod like the ones you make (which may i add are just pure class!) we would need:
1.A vci-100 (does it matter which vci, eg. LE/SE/mixvibes/the standard silver one)?
2. Your firmware upgrade that you sell
3. Your black nobs and fader pack?
this do it yourself arcade pack is a fantastic idea as it will be nice to feel like it is truely your own personalized version.
Thank you tech tools, Fab Job
Hey guys great work on the website, love what your doing.
is there a price for the do it yourself option for the arcade buttons?
Can we get details of what we may be seeing from the you guys with the VCI-300? I’ve been tormented about getting the 300 or the 100, and this could be the end all be all final answer for me.
Thanks for the props- we like the site too :)
no price yet on the DIY- depends on if we can find a deal on the buttons and pass that savings on to you.
The 100 is a much better controller for Traktor pro- especially when the new firmware comes out. That being said- the 300 is popular so we will be supporting that as well but not nearly as much.

Are the arcade overlays for sale by themselves? I have a project vci that I wanted to mod with the arcade buttons and wanted to get the tight overlay.
yes- they will be available solo.
...
Congratulations.
This "free choice" options is great.
...
what do you mean, are you disappointed that we dont have any free info here? All the parts in the kit cost money to produce and would need to have some sort of a price- there is already a basic DIY arcade guide for free on our youtube account
i am so mad everything is vci100 whats up with the guys that have vci300 whats up?
we are working on several things for the 300 including some mods, a new firmware and a mapping so stay tuned,,,
