Only forward thinking users with gigantic imaginations would ever come up with ideas like this. The manufactures just have too much at stake go out on a limb and create a product like the Korg Kaosilator guitar. Vestax and the controller one was an interesting exception, one which never did well commercially but was a remarkable achievement in creativity.

Instead of coming from Korg, this next level toy interface comes from a user named James Haskin who has written a how to tutorial on instructables.com Check out his video bellow where he shows the machine in action.

ive been looking at one of these little kaossilators to spice up my traktor sets a little bit. has anyone on this forum got a chance to use one yet, particularly in conjunction with traktor. i know it doesnt have a midi out, so you cannot actually "sync" it to traktor, but i was thinking by ear with the tap function on the korg, as well as mapping some master tempo bend functions to keep the 2 in sync…

muse also have a kaoss pad built into their guitars too….

the controller one is a great concept instrument – i just wish i was creative enough on the turntables to use the bastard. look up the 'fretless fader' on youtube – amazing!!
