Press Play

justplay2

Announcing our brand new “Press Play” laptop stickers, which are designed to convert your Macbook’s apple logo into a glowing play button. Mac makes some great laptops but lets face it ,all these glowing apples have made the classic icon a little cliche. Personalize your mac, controllerism style and advertise your passion- not a brand.

Available in silver, black, and white, these high quality stickers come as part of our new sticker packs, which include two additional vinyl “hard drive” stickers. There are two variants to choose from, one with the apple leaf for the cheeky types, and one without the leaf for the minimalist.

“Press Play” Sticker Sets can be purchased in the web store for $6.99, with free first class shipping worldwide but quantities are very limited so get yours now. The webstore is also fully re-stocked with the much sought after firmware upgrade kits.

Know what I would love to see in the webstore?

Arcade mods for the Korg Nanopad. I dunno if it's possible but if it is count me in! I could use a few more buttons.

Nice stickerz. Makes me sad I dont use mac.

But I do use HP and they have a hole behind that sign of theirs so I've been thinking about adding some lights and acrylic glyph or something.

Like that but the size of the nanopad. The great thing about the nano is how you can place it on your laptop stand in front of your laptop.

Just wanted to say that there's free shipping on this first round of Sticker Packs…so if you've already purchased something from us, you have nothing to lose by ordering these separately!

Yeah- I totally agree, we were trying to get them faster for all the firmware people. So instead made the shipping free so you dont lose out on 2 orders.

I really wonder how well the stickers blend in with the various colours (specifically silver, as I have a MBP). The price seems worth buying just to try, anyway…so I might just do it and deal with any possible regrets by removing the sticker residue-free. :P

    thats a good question-

the black and white match almost perfectly and the silver is very close.

The macbooks are aluminum though so its almost impossible to perfectly match that texture.

Usually residue from stickers is easily cleaned with gasoline/petrol so I would not worry about removing it.

Don't use gasoline, except to remove the really sticky residue of the DJTT Jog Grips. Sorry Ean, but I must remove them today due to its glue. It's a nuisance in the edges of the jog grips. It's like it never get dry, and allways you find some of this substance around. I can't recommend it until it get improved like the other djtt prducts.

Anyway i've ordered a pair of these new "press play" stickers to support all the good work we are receiving from this site and still waiting for the definitive DjTT Traktor Pro Overlay. Trying the 2.0 map is now almost esential. Thanks again!

I share your sentiment with the jog grips. I am thankful for the wide, tactile grippy area around the edges of my jogs, but at the same time, the glue gets everywhere, including on the touchable surface because of installation. It makes it really simple to pitch-bend in an emergency — quickly, effectively, and error-free (I've never accidentally touched the metal, just like the adverts promised) — however, the sticky-factor is annoying, and starting to collect grime. The stickiness of the appliques was startling: I was not expecting them to be so freakin' sticky and gummy.I kept accidentally getting my fingertips stick to the bottoms, and thereby spread the glue around accidentally to everything I touched. It took me three tries with dish soap to get off my fingertips. I would definitely buy another pair if they could be made similarly sticky, but less gummy (the source of the problem, IMHO).

Ean, please consider getting another batch of similar product, but a bit more awesome. :P

These play-button stickers, though…totally awesome. I've been waiting for these since you first mentioned them. I'll have to combine these with the rainbow logo mod I plan on doing soon.

    Regards,

    ATP

I completely agree with you guys and thank you for your feedback.

The sad thing is that this adhesive the manufacturer used (which was wrong) has actually become much worse with time. So when we first got them the batch was ok and after 6 months they have become a problem. Now that terrible adhesive works its way around and does not really stay fixed not to mention the obscene gummyness.

As Lastone stated, that's not living up to the standards of our other products so we actually have taken them down from the web store and are looking at having a new batch made.

This will cost us a lot of money because a huge batch was made in the first place- but in the end we cant sell a product that is less than perfect.

Thanks again for your support and feedback- its important to me. Hopefully, we can get a new set made with a better adhesive soon.

Cool. I'd like to go with the minimal type once a new batch comes out!
