The first design is good. But all of these look cluttered when it comes to the font.

Suggestion for the shirt:
The DJTT hard drive logo in front, and the midian deconstruction of the hard drive on the back of the shirt..That would be sweet!

Ean should be the one ultimately be deciding what the logo should be, regardless of any vote here. This is HIS baby. It's a brand identity he's trying to get created (at least i'd hope that's what he's going for).

Hard Drives, as disc platters is almost as retro as Vinyl, in our chapter of Digital DJ'ing.

Also, I'm not so sure the turntable/or disc icon is necessarily, the best vehicle/icon for the site, because so many people use so much more than the traditional turntables to manipulate digital audio files. The whole Controllerism buzzword that has been pushed here, makes me think of all the other alternate controllers and Mods people do on their own, in the DIY way.... to make them unique in their performances.

Yeah, I think the hard drive would be a cool DJTT shirt for now, though in a few years there would have to be another contest for a new logo. Maybe it shoulda, woulda, coulda been a t-shirt contest instead of a logo for the site. No one will ever agree on one true DJTT logo. I had fun making #4, so hey I tried...Let's pick a winner and move on with the cool tutorials and dj tech info.

Question to Ean: Can the logo runner up's get a free t-shirt or a little somtin, somtin for their efforts??????????

Hard Drive Hockey.... is what it really is.

But, is even the icon of the hard drive almost outdated, with solid state flash storage in a big way just on the horizon? Hard Drives, as disc platters is almost as retro as Vinyl, in our chapter of Digital DJ'ing.

Just another nugget to chew on. I know you want to get the logo thing done and sorted... but... have we thought it all the way through yet?

This is the strangest competition I've ever seen! IMO the forum poll results look kinda fishy (shame on anyone who might be fixing them)!!!!!! and because 'the management' have made their opinion public on who should win, its kinda spoilt the fun of what was to be an interesting race even if they didn't end up using the final logo. When does this end so we can get back some normaility to DJTT instead of bitchin about bullshit logos and is there even a prize or is it just for like the kudos FFS?
