The Forum is UP!

dj-tt_forum.png

Thanks to all of you for your patience- finally the forum is up and running. Its been a very exciting time watching our little community grow and enjoying to passion that everyone contributes to the posts. Ultimately, a community is defined by group participation and our numbers speak volumes. Currently DJ TT has just under 100 posts and 1600 comments!

Comments alone wont cut the mustard though, so for a while I have been trying to figure out ways to give our readers the ability to start their own discussions and write articles themselves. The forum is a important first step, and next I am working on some very exciting ways to involve you even more.

The DJ Tech Tools constitution:

This forum is for the people and by the people. Therefore over the next few weeks I will be asking a few key readers that have shown really excellent participation to become the first forum moderators. I will be a regular member of the forum just like you and hope to learn as much as I share.

There is a section where you can post ideas and suggestions for articles on dj tech tools. Use it! If there is something you are confused about or want to learn, let us know. Further more if you have an idea or want to write about something yourself, post it there first. One of our more popular posts on laptop stands was written by Fatlimey, a regular around these parts. It became a collective dialog where several people contributed more and more ideas. All of our articles should be like that!

Right now I have created only a few categories. Please post your ideas for others that we might need to add to the list.

As you may have caught on the VCI page Ean, flight cases for your VCI. Again, i just can’t see myself ever carrying it in a bag. The attention that I give to the Marathon cases is the laptop shelf. However, I don’t have any strong prferences. If it protects the product and has a good fit, Sears can make it for all I care. Since you had a product sell 98% of it’s inventory in a week, I’m sure the various companies will be all ears if we let them know we’re looking for a VCI case. Hopefully I’m not the only one. Thanks for the great forum.

    Congrats on the new forum!

A questions section, a few faq, things like that are all good. Before you know it, you’ll need forum rules and all that jazz.
