Sorry for the problems we had with our server last Friday folks. Its frustrating when everything does not work according to plan but these are good problems to have. We underestimated the traffic and PayPal gave us incorrect information about what would happen if we suddenly sold that much product in one hour. We have just changed our AVS (address verification service) settings so that the international buyers should not have any problems. Please try to submit your orders again.

Call my Credit Card company and they say everything is ok. Problem with the billing system I’ve had this happen before doing payments on another website, webadmin said it was a problem with the zip and postal codes.
What i can do? We have further reduced the level of protection settings so that everyone should not have any problems with international adresses. Can I get a confirmation that its now working from anyone using an international credit card?

i got an email confirmation saying i have one reserved due to the mix up at paypal , problem is my funds got deducted from my debit , and they are saying it will take 6 days to refund …. am i still going to have one reserved or am i out of luck???

To those who cant(like me due to lack of funds), never fear, someone with Bomes midi author can allways make a file that you can open in Bomes Midi Player(free) that will make your deck work just like Ean Goldens. Or you can get creative and make your own modifications !(For PC users this is)
My hopes is to get my hands on a copy of Bomes Midi Pro(when i can finally afford it) and use some of the ideas in Ean Goldens setup to make my own customised setup using my own software setup (Ableton+Deckadance).
So really just getting the point across, dont shoot yourself in the foot cause you cant get one of these, there are many other and even more creative controllerism avenues out there to explore.
Huge thanks to Ean Golden for making this thing happen ! even if im not getting one… this is a fantastic thing for the dj tech tool community and a huge leap forward in off the shelf mixing devices.
Being a VCI-100 owner and djtechtool community lover myself, i would if i had the money, get a copy of Bomes Midi author and do this for the you guys - but alas, i dont have that kinda money to throw around :( Hopefully someone else out there can make this happen - we would love you for it :p
Anyone who wants to try something crazy and take things even futher than Ean has in traktor can go download Moldovers Controllerism files, a copy of ableton live, deckadance, bomes midi pro and Reaktor. Its possible to route the audio out of deckadance and into Moldovers setup giving you the badarse smart mixer setup + some of moldovers nice effects, while still having all the power of Deckadance. Next step is to load up a ton VST effects and get creative with Bomes midi translator Pro to make your own midi setup that suits your own musical taste and style. This setup is a HELL of alot of work, ive been working on my setup for weeks now and have hardly scratched the surface of the possibilities. Anyone whos done any work in production shouldnt find this difficult, just very time consuming.
I have personally been doing production for about 7-8 years before starting to djing a few months ago and only because this sort of thing is possible, so while my mixing skills might not be A1, i certainly know a thing or two about audio routeing, midi translation and effects in a DAW(digital audio workstation) enviroment.
Anyone whos on my wavelength and would like to talk shop can get me on msn - wastoid at gmail d0t com. Id love to hear what other people are doing with deckadance inside a DAW.
This actually gives me the feeling that manufacturers are going to have to start putting small LCD screens around all the buttons and faders, because everyone is going to have such personalised setups and would still like to know what each button is doing, personally at the moment i have everything memorized haha.
Its great to see digital dj’s are pushing the envelope much futher than analogue dj’s could possibly immagine, lets keep up the good work and blow them all out of the water.

i am 100% sure that the credit card i’m using has the sufficient line of credit and is not expired. and i’m ordering from the US, so its not an international problem. i’ve tried several times with no luck.

From what I know you have to pay for it full. If quantities last until april then you will be able to buy it in april.

iPad - I think you may have major difficulties getting a hold of one of these in april, there is only 100 units all up to go around :( Dont fret though read my last comment if you would like to try a different approach which is equally if not more creative and a hell of alot more personalised to your own tastes.

There are currently about 15 left, which I am really happy about. There are many people that really want some but cant buy them just yet. So, hopefully there will be a few left in the next month for those that need to wait. Otherwise we can offer the upgrade kits to go with silver units.

If we can generate enough interest, we can probably get something similar just for the VCI units which I think would be great. Despite other blogs, I doubt I would ever carry my VCI-100 in any sort of bag for fear of damage to the knobs or crossfader.
If you think the possibility of a case is hot, write those guys via the contact us page and tell them you’re interested in one of those type cases and let’s see what happens. If we can sell out what looks to be 100 units in less than a week, we can get a case to protect our investment too. Post your thoughts (if that’s ok with Ean).

I’m somewhat of an instruction manual nerd. Any chance of posting a PDF link of a user guide for YOUR version of the VCI-100SE or @ least e-mailing a link to those that purchased one? When it ships I literally want to know as much as possible about how to use it when (before) I pull it out of the box.
Also, if you’re able to do a video similar to Moldover’s Controllerist/Super Knob video (great post by the way) breaking down in as much detail as “reasonably” possible, what the different knobs can do, that will be great. I’ve seen the webpage detail and graphics as well as your VCI routine videos and I understand most of what I see but a button-to-button VIDEO breakdown will also be a big help to understanding what we bought before we receive it.

I dont believe that its impossible to get one of black vci, but Im starting to get sick from all of this.. its a long time Im looking and surfing and searching and there is no progress in that..
okay. I know we’re kind of all beating dead horses here, but you would think that an item that is this sought out from people, someone would at vestax perc? would get a hint. obviously there’s a demand for this product but it seems almost pointless to compete with even the people on this forum. let alone the people who don’t post comment & just patiently wait for there right time. I’d love to really contact vestax directly to see if se doesn’t have to mean le. (limited edition) not to cheapen the value of those who already own one but mostly for the practicality. The color is nice, more aestheticly pleasing than the silver, but comparing the additions you’ve (ean) put on it, it’s pretty much an upgrade from the previous version. not to stroke you’re ego but you’ve worked with this machine for enough to know what could be improved. now getting anything less than that seems archaic & not as worth the money, time or energy since people are willing to fly to other countries to get one when it might not even be there. I just think the practicality of your upgrade is viable on all vci-100s. but that’s just my opinion.
if that’s it & vestax says screw it. we’re not going to bother with your demands then i’ll still get one. with, unfortunatly, not as much pride. but if I’m into traktor, it’s the best on the market for compatible mixer/midi

Believe me, we completely agree with you. Sadly, there are other “factors” at play. One of them is the fact that the parts are not available for the unit. To make them, they need to make at least 1k of the mixers. If we could say- hell yeah we will sell 1k of them then great. They would spend 3 months making them for us. Can we really sell that many? Not sure,
