those of you with a VCI-100 already can buy a upgrade kit in about 3-4 weeks. This will include plates, a translator that will duplicate the changes made to this units firmware and the TKS. As mentioned above that should run around $70.

So when it will be available?

if you have the audio 8 read the review on site. i am using one now and i have a small litter of soundcards to compare it to. it’ll do you fine.

ood points, however, the vci-300 is for serato itch, i haven?t heard of anyone actually using it for traktor in the manner that one does the vci-100

agreed. they should be meeting the customer demand because obviously there is a market for it. it really doesn’t make to much sense. I think there answer to the demand was to make the vci-300 as it is, with the brighter led’s, more visible knobs and black chases but still I prefer the black vci-100. a warranty, thats were things are undoubtedly going to get a little fuzzy. while it does come with a warranty I’m sure its Japanese and intended for domestic Japanese customers. seeing as you can buy one I’m sure with enough effort if something were to go wrong you could use the warranty, but thats not something I would want to have to do.

for those of you who have traktor dj studio 3 and all of the current upgrades, as well as traktor scratch, have any of you used your audio 8 dj as your audio interface for the vci-100? if so, do you find it to be a very effective sound card?

i need comparisons to be understand as i have considered others on the market, especially the rme fireface that ean uses
