My stiff jogwheel got fixed when my cat threw the VCI on the floor. Don't ask how that's possible but it happened. Not only did the VCI survive but the stiff jogwheel was fixed and both jog wheels now have equal resistance and things are working great. Here’s a story for you. It was very simple to replace- with the same part. I have no idea if you can switch it for a different fader BUT my instinct says yes. They should be the same basic structure, you may have bust out the soldering iron though ;-) no problem- we replied there and here too :-)
