Controllerism juggle routine w VCI-100

Here is a basic juggle routine I have been working on with my customized VCI-100. Its a free-form mash up of Rock the Bells and a classic Ray Charles song.

    Hey Ean,

Maybe I look like I’m late with my question about this beat juggle stuff, but I got a vci-100 a month ago, and for now, i got familiar with it (I wanted one for a year but it’s hard to get one here in Hungary, they sell it for about 750$, and they always run out of stock etc)
So, I want to try this beatjuggling, so far I used Virtual dj, there I were able to map different buttons for for different cue points by changing the value of the newly mapped button (cue1, cue2 ..etc) But as we know, VDJ “sucks” vith vci-100 because of the jogwheels…And there is a mapping for it, with jogwheels mapped, but I cannot find that.
So I’d like to do the same in traktor, set up different buttons for different cue points (exactly the ones under the platter). I read that you do something similar (or exactly this) in traktor. The problem is that I dont know how to map these functions in traktor. And that could be a problem that I have a PC not a mac?
    Please help me with this:)

sure, you should first check out the post “black vci-100 update”. That talks about the ean golden edition and how the firmware will be available for you to perform what you are talking about very efficiently. That should be available with the plates in march and in the mean time I may put up a new TKS for everyone to use.
    cheers,

    Ean

    Thanx for the reply,

That would be very useful, because I DL-d the tks file that you’ve put up with a previous post, and (maybe because of me) it’s not working too fine..
So I’m waiting for the tks update
Keep up the good work, especially because your work and videos on VCI-100 were the ones that inspired me (a singer of a hardcore punk band :D ) to buy and explore this era of music creation.
    cheers from Hungary
