No no no - the crossfader is not the problem. The sound card in the Xponent has a ton of latency. As an experiment, I ran the sound through my Conectiv (while using the Xponent) and its much much better.
good point, i did not test it with another sound card. Personally the latency did not feel that bad, and performed well at a low buffer but it could have been better. I still think the cross fader cut could be sharper though :-) its not picking up the 1/16 note transforms.
I’m not sure you can test it with another sound card, but it definitely while both were connected. I did test the fader cut in a bit more, its not as sharp as they come - but its a combination of software and hardware. I was playing with the Xponent and Traktor - same problem there, but you can hear a gradual cut in. Its slight, but its still an issue if you are going for 1/16ths.
I plan to get me a Xponent, but first one question. The buttons (play/cue), are they soft rubber like “Denon” or hard plastic (I like CDJ-1000 buttons)

I found the buttons to a bit too soft and squishy for my taste. They are certainly more like the Denon buttons.
