MOD your Vestax VCI-100 with ARCADE BUTTONS!
Here is video 1/2 on how to add some bad ass arcade buttons to your Vestax VCI-100. The other one should be up in a few days! Word of warning to Manufactures that send me gear to review. Yes, i may take your stuff apart and turn it into a Frankenstein dj controller. Long live controllerism!

Nice!!!! It’s the one complaint I have personally with the VCI, the buttons are way too stiff. I’m thinking this doesn’t do too much for your warranty ;) Are you gonna post parts lists and suppliers for those that want to void theirs too?
Keep it up, this is good stuff.

Absolutely- in part 2 I will do a complete break down of how to do it. This was more of a teaser/intro. Its really quite simple. The hard part is getting up the nerve to hack apart the VCI! :-)

That is crazy man, I bought one used for when I’m away from home so I can work on mixes.
You got me seriously thinking, man.

You said you used happ arcade buttons sanwa buttons are more sensitive and less clicky sounding assuming they’ll fit in a VCI-100 I’d recommend them over happ buttons. Most arcade gurus say sanwa parts are the best. On a side note a arcade stick could be used for a quite nicely as a X/Y controller and button triggering.
